OUR PASTOR

 

Pastor Hodge is married to Romanda Y. (Bush) Hodge of Louisville, Kentucky, who models the true meaning of a First Lady, by being a friend to all and a Christian help mate to her husband.  He is the proud father of six and he has nine grandchildren.

He was baptized at Howard Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in New Albany, Indiana on April 1972.  He served as a Sunday School teacher, Usher, Choir Presidnet, Brotherhood and Pastor's Aid Member, Youth Ministry, Deacon, and Trustee.  On June 2, 1991, Pastor Hodge was licensed as  Minister of the Gospel and was ordained December 30, 1994.  In addition, Pastor Hodge served as an Assistant Pastor from January 1998-2002.

Since 2003, as Pastor of Meadowlawn Baptist Church, the church body has grown.  Under his leadership, they have been blessed with two ordained minsiters, three licensed ministers, seven ordained deacons, one ordained deacon emeritus, and one minister of liturgical dance.  They have been blessed with many ministries.

Under Pastor Hodge's leadership, guidance, and diligence, the church has burned two mortgages and purchased a church van.

His goal is to serve as the Pastor as the Holy Spirit leads and directs his path to serve, lift, and exalt the people of God.  One of his favorite saying is, "May the work I've done speak for me."
